1. Where can I find the game?
Claire de Lune is available on PC and can be digitally downloaded from the Steam storefront, or the Epic Games Store. Other digital storefronts will be supported soon. There is currently no boxed edition of the game. There are no console, Mac, or Linux versions currently available.
2. Will you localize the game into other languages?
Currently the game is only available in English. We may localize the game to other languages in the future.

1. The game is crashing, freezing, or exhibiting severe issues
You have likely encountered a bug. Please contact us at gamesupport@tacticstudios.com with an explanation of what happened.

Claire de lune produces a log of your activities at C:\Users\[username]\Claire de Lune\[storefront]\logs, where [storefront] is either Steam or Epic. If you attach the most recent game log to your email, we can diagnose the issue.

If you cannot find a log file, please provide the following information along with your email:
  1. Storefront (Epic or Steam)
  2. Graphics card
The community may also be able to help with your issue, and you could try posting on the Steam Forums. We also monitor these forums for bugs.

Rarely, crashes or issues with performance may be related to an out of date graphics driver. Updating your graphics driver will solve the issue.
2. The game runs unusually slow
There are several options available in the video and graphics quality settings to improve your frame rate. Reducing your resolution, and lowering the overall quality settings will have the greatest impact. If you are still experiencing significant reduction in speed and meet the minimum performance guidelines, you may be experiencing a bug. See item #1 on how to submit a bug report.
3. I am stuck and cannot progress
Claire de Lune is a puzzle game that does not provide hints. If the game is otherwise not experiencing an issue, you likely have not discovered the solution to a current puzzle. There are many online guides or Youtube videos available that may help you walk through the game. You can also ask for community assistance at the Steam Forums. Our support email only solves bugs and does not provide hints or puzzle solutions.
4. Can I remap the controls?
Yes, advanced settings including controller remapping can be found here: C:\Users\[username]\Claire de Lune\[storefront]\options.dat. Under the section labeled Input you will find the input mappings, which can be edited.

Ensure you edit this file with the game closed. If you make an error when editing this file, it may cause problems in the game. We recommend creating a backup of this file prior to editing. If however you forget to do this, you can always delete the file and it will be recreated when you next start the game.
5. The game is still running as an active process in Windows despite having shut it down
This is not intended behaviour and represents a bug. Follow the steps in item #1 to send us a bug report. To force shut down the game, closing "Claire de lune.exe" can sometimes be insufficient. You may also need to close "javaw.exe" which is the Java virtual machine running Claire de Lune. Note, other software that uses Java may also appear as "javaw.exe" in your processes tab, so proceed with caution.
6. I want a refund
We cannot process refunds ourselves. Please request a refund through the storefront directly (Steam or Epic Games Store).
